Join Summerfest at Summerfest musicians perform throughout the year for audiences at libraries, schools, and senior centers. Recent and upcoming performances include the following: January 31, 2010 Free concert to celebrate Summerfest's 20th Anniversary Season and 20 year commitment to outreach. February 8, 2010 Free concert for residents and guests. April 23, 2010: 9:15 a.m. Instrument demonstration and concert. World Premiere by Ian Coleman. Composer will be present and involved in presentation. Call in advance for reservations: 816-510-0978. Seating for guests is very limited.
May 28, 2010 7 p.m.
"Informance" for families featuring composer Ian Coleman, who will discuss his piece "5-4-3". Six Summerfest musicians will present this work and show their instruments to the audience.
